Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog 😆 Today I would like to continue the journal review, the title is The Use of Songs in Teaching Students’ Listening Ability . In this part, I would like to review about the Data Presentation and Discussion part. Please enjoy ~ v   Data presentation Considering the obtained value of t (tobt = 6.542) is higher than the value of t critical (tcrit = 2.021). Thus the null hypothesis was rejected and the use of songs as the media of teaching listening is likely improve the students’ listening ability. This finding supports the research hypothesis that the use of song is effective in improving students’ listening ability. Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog😊 Today I would like to continue the journal review, the title is The Use of Songs in Teaching Students’ Listening Ability . In this part, I would like to review about the methodology that use to solve the problem of student’s listening ability. Please enjoy ~ Before I tell you the methods that used by the researcher, I will tell you the problems. The researcher found that in listening comprehension, students face difficulties in communication. The problem is not because of the ability of the students but also from the teachers. So, to overcome the problem, developing such as an interactive way to teach listening is recommended. Murphy (1990) suggests that many English teachers have long recognized that song and music work well in language classes.
